Helpful Event Information
We want to call for Justice, Peace & Love in our communities in a way that God would be pleased. Here are some details that will help us accomplish our mission:
- Arrive to Sit-In Shifts no later than 20 minutes before shift (i.e. arrive at 11:40 am for 12 pm - 1 pm shift). Please sign up for shifts below.
- Park in large parking lot on Orange St. (Check In Station will be located in small parking lot immediately behind the Family Life Center)
- Attire: Church of Christ Shirts or White Shirts only (this attire is for Sit-In and Drive-Thru participants)
- Please bring your face masks (Sit-In participants will be required to wear a mask)
- Signs will be provided for you (no outside signs or statements will be permitted in the Sit-In)
- Drive Thru route: Exit Waco street if exiting I-10 from the East, turn right come down Waco to Lyons Ave, make a U-Turn at the light, proceed down Waco St (towards I-10); Exit Lockwood (if come from the west on I-10), make a left on Lyons Ave, make a left on Waco St (towards I-10)
- Water and chairs will be provided
